Rearend Swap
I am going to put a play by play on here, but for now let me just say Its basically a direct swap for a 1993 to 1997 rear end in a 3rd gen.  The only thing you must do, if you have drum brakes, is to get a disc proportioning valve.  Some say use a wilwood adjustable; sure, if you want to cut and reflair all your lines.  Get the appropriate year proportioning valve for your vehicle that was made for disc.  For my '91 I went to the Chevy dealer and asked for a proportioning valve from a '91 Z-28 with disc.  When I drive my car now, it feels like it came factory with disc.  The fourth gen rear is 4 inches wider than a 3rd gen.  So your factory rims will stick out a little.  It doesn't look bad though, but changes the handling a little.  You can also use 93 or newer rims, and it will sit like it was meant to be there.  93 and newer rims will require 2.25 inch spacers for the front for 3rd gens, I got mine from Skulte Performance Design.  Great quality, and considering I ordered mine around September 11th 2001, I got them very quickly.  Any questions on the swap, feel free to e-mail me.
